At MyOutdoors we operate a "Real World" testing system. This means we work together with manufacturers and selected retailers to provide independent test and review of products using a combination of full time outdoor professionals and dedicated amateur users. All products are field tested for a minimum of 7 days, with longer term testing also undertaken, in suitable environments including the Cairngorms, Highlands, Lake District, Peak District and Brecon Beacons in the UK and the Alps, Patagonia and the Himalayas amongst testers' international destinations in the last 3 years.
Products are accepted for test and review, including group tests, on a non-return basis except by prior agreement. Where product return is required it is the responsibility of the supplier to arrange collection at the supplier's expense. We welcome new products for review at any time along with new and existing products for our scheduled test and reviews, with a 3 month schedule available.
