The company has won an International Green Apple Award, one of the UK’s leading environmental accolades, for its Roadmap to Zero project.  In addition, Nikwax was honoured with an Eco Award for its latest innovation, Stain Scrub, at Slide OTS, the snowsports and outdoor trade show. 

 

Stain Scrub is a powerful pre-wash, PFAs-free, stain treatment designed to tackle the toughest stains on waterproof garments, without using bleach and harmful chemicals.  It effectively lifts stubborn stains while maintaining the garment’s durable water repellency (DWR). 

 

The awards recognise Nikwax’s continued leadership in developing high-performance, PFAS-free, water-based formulations, alongside its commitment to responsible manufacturing, renewable energy use, and transparent environmental reporting.
